Digiclinic was designed to help bridge the gap between patients and physicians. A comprehensive telemedicine application, Digiclinic allows physicians to have a teleconference consultation with their patients. Digiclinic will either use a direct to consumer model or contract with employers for employee use. In this application patients may schedule their consultation appointment or select a walk in consultation if appropriate providers are available. Patients also receive a treatment plan, e-prescription and specialist referral if necessary. Claricode built a web based application as well as a mobile application for Digiclinic. As long as they have internet access and a webcam they will be able to conduct a teleconference consultation with a physician from any location.

Claricode collaborated with Digiclinic to create a scheduling system as well as a matching algorithm to facilitate the workflow of the application. The scheduling system compares provider availability to predetermined shifts, and matches a provider to a shift. The matching algorithm matches patients to providers who are currently online, and takes into account several requirements, including the physician’s licenses and the patient’s indicated preferences. Once in the consultation, the provider has access to the patient’s medical history. The application also has a chat feature for patients and physicians to be able to ask/answer questions.
